Matariki

Hi Bloggers,

For the last two weeks we have been learning about Matariki. Yesterday we had a Matariki assembly and each class got to share what they had learned about Matariki. In our class we have been doing art for the Matariki assembly. Doing the art was fun but also took heaps of time. While we were learning about Matariki I learned that Matariki is the Maori new year and is also a time to restart the Maori calendar.Once we had finished I felt really proud of myself of what I had accomplished.
