Cooking With KidsCan

Ni Hao,

Last week as part of feed the whanau we did some cooking with KidsCan.For the Cooking activity we had to make carabonara pasta. We were so lucky to have come and teach us because not every class in Hay Park school got to have a chance. Carabonara pasta was a vegetarian so it was ok for everyone in Hay Park school.I would like to thank KidsCan for coming into our school and help us make the Caranonara Pasta.I would also like to thank Nestle for Proving us a free ingredients pack so we could make this with our family.

To do this we had to get those pots and put the soil onto a sauser annd put 50ml of water over it.Next put on gloves and mix the water into the soil with your finger to a wet mixture.Which the soil expand. Then place your seeds into your soil on top of the soil ( take care not to press down too hard) Now use the rest of pour soil to fill it you and you should be ready to go.

Remember to place the pot on a clean Saucer and place it with enough light but not directly in the sun. And Check the soil in the morning and before bed.If the soild feels crumbly, pour a small amount of CLEAN water over the surface.
