SLJ Insect art
Hey Bloggers,
Today as part of summer learning journey I was told to be a insect with some leaves petals and twigs. I have used 4 rose petals and three twigs. Can You guess what is it ?
What a gorgeous butterfly! I love how you have used red rose petals to make it so bold and beautiful, and little sticks as the body and antennae. Ka pai on a fantastic job.
What’s your favourite type of insect? Mine is a butterfly just like the one you’ve created! I love butterflies. I live in Dunedin and we actually have a butterfly exhibit at the museum here. It’s in a super warm room and there’s a waterfall through the middle. The butterflies all flutter round freely, and eat from all the flowers growing in there. It’s amazing. I once even had a butterfly land on me!
What are you going to name your creation? If you had more materials, what other insects could you make from nature?
Wow that is amazing! I wish I could go to Dunedin so I can visit the butterfly exhibit. If i had more materials then I would have tried making a ladybug Thanks for telling me about the butterfly exhibit maybe one day I could go and visit And yes my favourite insect is a butterfly.
Thanks for taking Your time and commenting on my blog!

Hi Faisa,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your reply!
Maybe you could make a ladybug using the petals you have for the butterfly wings and some small sections of grass for dots?
Are you enjoying the SLJ so far? What's been your favourite activity?
Bye for now,
Shannon (SLJ)
