Today I am going to share my Pepha. Maori people believe that your Pepeha is something that represents your self and who you are. Plastic July

Hello guys,

As you should it is plastic free July. As part of plastic free July our class Lockhart class has been looking on what Impact dose plastic do to our Marine life. Before we thought about what Impact dose to our Marine life we had to watch 2 videos that tell us why and how.Next we had to make a paragraph about our thoughts and feelings. After that we had to make a google drawing and copy and paste our paragraph and then using shapes to make a sea animals.As an example I will show you mine. School holidays

Hello Bloggers,

How has your two week holiday been? Mine has been amazing! Yesterday we were fortunate enough to go to Chipmunks. Before the day had started I thought being at Chipmunks would be boring but I was wrong. Being at Chipmunks was great because most of my other close friends were thee so I had an amazing time !

By the end of the day we were exhausted of all that running and jumping. I was delighted to find out that we were having pizza for dinner. Once we were going to sleep I glazed at the stars wishing to do that again sometime.

Matariki

Hi Bloggers,

For the last two weeks we have been learning about Matariki. Yesterday we had a Matariki assembly and each class got to share what they had learned about Matariki. In our class we have been doing art for the Matariki assembly. Doing the art was fun but also took heaps of time. While we were learning about Matariki I learned that Matariki is the Maori new year and is also a time to restart the Maori calendar.Once we had finished I felt really proud of myself of what I had accomplished. Here is one picture of the art we had done.

Multiplication Mashup

Today I am going to share a multiplication task. Two weeks ago we meet some people who told us a bit more about them selves. Last week they a a challenge prepared for us.We had tried to solve the task witch was really hard. At the end I think most of us  got the hang of it and it became more easy.Today as my task I will show you one of the ways they teached us how to solve a 2 digit number. Hope you enjoy!!! 

Stardome

Hello guys,

Today our school were fortunate enough to, go to Stardome. Going to Stardome was a litlle different because, we had to go with our buddy class. For Example My class ( Room 6 ) had to go with Rae class ( Room 2) During the first part we learnt a little bit, about the stars and did a little qiuz. The next part was a favorite part, we went into the planetarium.The planetarium was a HUGE room. To look at the screen we had to look at the ceiling.  

When we wen into the the planetarium, we had watched some little clips about Matariki,Rona, Ranginui and papatuanunku.I had really enjoyed the day especially when we went into the planetarium. Here are some pictures. ( take a scroll down)
